People’s Law School in Grand Rapids

The Truscott Rossman Grand Rapids team has been promoting the  “People’s Law School,” which Sinas Dramis Law Firm is partnering with the Michigan Association for Justice and Wayne State University’s Law School to bring to Grand Rapids for the first time.

Here’s some recent coverage of the People’s Law School:

“If people don’t understand the law, they can’t fully exercise their legal rights,” said Tom Sinas, whose Lansing-based law firm Sinas Dramis opened a Grand Rapids office in August 2013. “That’s why we’ve partnered on the People’s Law School in Lansing all these years, and it’s the reason we made the same commitment to this community when our firm opened our office in downtown Grand Rapids.”  (from MLive)

A law firm is producing a five-week series that begins tomorrow on the American legal system — for people who want to better understand their rights. Sinas Dramis Law Firm in Grand Rapids is hosting the People’s Law School with the support of the Wayne State University Law School and Michigan Association for Justice. Classes will include a lecture from a legal expert — a judge, seasoned attorney or law school professor — followed by a question-and-answer session.
