Intern at Truscott Rossman

This is not a file-this-stack-of-papers-and-fetch-me-coffee internship.

Are you ready to take the first step into a communications career and looking to gain versatile experience at a PR agency?

At TR, you’ll get everything communications-related thrown at you including drafting news releases, pitching media, drafting ads, planning and attending press conferences, assisting coalition building efforts and much more. And the best part is you get to see the results of your hard work, because your assignments directly assist our local, statewide and national clients.

All of our communications associate positions are paid and can count for college credit. The positions require a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week, but 16 hours per week is preferred – the more time you dedicate, the more advanced projects we can give you.

If you’re interested in public relations, public affairs, new media, graphic design, advertising or marketing, you could be a good fit for us!

We look for creative, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have great interpersonal skills and are strong writers. Our communications associate positions are highly competitive, but we’re always accepting applications.

We count on our communications associates to balance multiple assignments, take both initiative and direction and produce quality work every day. That’s why no other firm will better prepare you for a career in communications.
