Truscott Rossman releases 2017-2018 ‘Lobby Guide’

Eleventh edition the largest Lobby Guide yet

LANSING, Mich. – Truscott Rossman’s highly sought-after directory of who’s who in the capital city hits the streets today. The 2017-2018 biennial Michigan Legislators’ Guide to Lobbyists and Media – popularly known as the Truscott Rossman Lobby Guide – comes in at more than six-and-a-half times the size of the inaugural 72-page document, published in 1998.

“The Truscott Rossman Lobby Guide has been an essential tool in Michigan state government for nearly two decades,” said John Truscott, president of Truscott Rossman. “Updating the Lobby Guide is truly a herculean task, but we are proud to work on it every other year because we know how helpful it is to our friends and colleagues around the state and to the legislative process.”

This year’s edition marks the largest and most ambitious Lobby Guide yet. The 488-page user-friendly depository is bursting at the seams with useful information, including contact information, background and areas of expertise for:

  • multi-client, association and corporate lobbyists;
  • state relations officers for Michigan’s public universities;
  • reporters and assignment editors with the Capital Press Corps and statewide media;
  • administration and state agencies; and
  • members of the House and Senate, including staff.

“This is the only directory of its kind, not only in Michigan, but across the nation,” said Truscott Rossman CEO Kelly Rossman-McKinney. “So many familiar faces have changed positions since the last guide was printed, and even more new faces have been added.”

Although the Truscott Rossman Lobby Guide can be found on almost every desk in the Legislature, the trick to the most complete and up-to-date information is combining the hard copy with the online version, available at buy.truscottrossman.com or by calling Truscott Rossman at 517-487-9320.

The Lobby Guide is available in print for $50, as an online-only version for $25, or both versions as a package for $60.
