The results are in and Truscott Rossman is honored to have taken home top honors once again in the 2017 MIRS/EPIC-MRA Insider Survey as the state’s most effective public relations consulting firm.

Principals Kelly Rossman-McKinney and John Truscott were also named No. 1 and No. 2 most effective public relations professionals, respectively.

The biennial survey, conducted electronically, received more than 470 responses from lawmakers, lobbyists, public affairs professionals and other capital insiders.

Truscott Rossman was named the most effective public relations consulting firm by 42 percent of respondents, a margin of more than 20 percent over other competing firms.

Since joining forces in 2011, Rossman-McKinney and Truscott have been voted the most effective PR firm in all subsequent surveys – in 2011, 2013, 2015 and now 2017. In fact, this streak of first place finishes stretches back to Kelly’s previous firm: The Rossman Group.

With this year’s selection, the Truscott Rossman principals have been voted the No. 1 and No. 2 most effective public relations professionals in every single survey conducted, including: 2004, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017.
