Truscott Rossman Advances Growth Plan; Transitions New Generation of Leadership

Allie Walker takes over as the firm’s president to ignite the next generation of leaders

DETROIT – Truscott Rossman (TR) announced today the culmination of a five-year growth plan that positions the agency to grow in the future. Allie Walker is now the firm’s president. Ron Fournier is now a senior advisor focusing on client service and business development. Walker, who has been leading the firm’s day-to-day operations for more than a year, represents a new generation of leadership at the integrated communications firm.

“Allie is the perfect next step for TR in our rapidly evolving industry,” said John Truscott, co-founder and CEO. “Five years ago, Ron and I set out with bold goals to build on the tremendous foundation that Kelly Rossman-McKinney and I had already established. We’ve exceeded expectations, doubling our revenues and our client list. And now we have an emerging leader poised to take us to another level.”

Walker started her career on Capitol Hill working for Congressman Dave Camp, where she supported media efforts and strategy for the powerful Ways and Means Committee. After working in Honda North America’s Washington, DC office, she joined TR in 2015. Most recently, Allie served as the firm’s vice president leading the day-to-day operations and TR’s largest client accounts for international, national and statewide organizations. She has spearheaded a focus on project management and strategic integration, creating unique divisions for corporate communications, public affairs and digital communications. And, by setting processes and standards to replicate service across all client teams, she has elevated TR by bottling the high-level personal client service Truscott and Rossman-McKinney were known for.

“It’s an honor to lead this team and serve our clients,” said Walker. “JT and Kelly created a special organization, Ron drove it forward, and I hope to be able to build on that legacy.”

Fournier will remain an active member of the TR client service teams. “This gives me more time to do what brings me the most joy – helping our partners tell their stories,” said Fournier. In his new role, Fournier will support clients from the firm’s headquarters in Detroit through high-level strategy, creative content and media relations expertise. He will continue to recruit and serve new clients as a leader in TR’s growth strategy.
