Amy A. LeFebre
After nearly two decades in corporate, nonprofit and agency PR, Amy has learned to see communications challenges from the inside out and from the public’s perspective. She has developed and implemented comprehensive community relations engagement programs, provided communications counsel in support of advancement campaigns, and provided strategic media relations and issues management counsel to augment the communications plans for clients in biomedical research, healthcare, education, economic development, local government, hospitality and tourism, manufacturing, health and human services, and arts and culture.
Amy joined Truscott Rossman in 2014 from the Grand Rapids-based brand-building firm DO MORE GOOD (formerly Hanon McKendry), where she served as director of corporate communications and public relations and worked with clients including Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan, Orion Construction, Legrand, MLive and Grand Rapids Christian Schools.
Previously, Amy was senior consultant for Wondergem Consulting. There she served as executive speechwriter and provided media relations, strategic communications and community relations support to clients including the Van Andel Institute, The Right Place, Inc., Metro Health, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and the Wege Foundation. She began her career at Amway Corp. and moved from there to the National Easter Seal Society in Chicago, where she was director of corporate marketing, managing relationships with $1 million-plus national sponsors.
