Barb joined the Truscott Rossman team in 2015 as a senior account executive and now serves as Director overseeing TR’s intern program and serving her clients’ communications needs.

Working with clients in industries such as healthcare, tourism, energy and banking, she is thoroughly committed to meeting client needs and helping them attain their strategic communication goals. Barb’s experience as director of communication and business development for Memorial Healthcare, a 150-bed hospital in Mid-Michigan, makes her a strong strategic thought leader and communications ally for organizations within the health sector.

Skilled at developing strategic plans to address an issue, communicate an announcement or plan an event, Barb leverages Truscott Rossman’s local, statewide and national media contacts and connections to government agencies, associations and other organizations to help her clients tell their stories.

Passing on her vast experience and knowledge with the next generation is important to Barb. She serves as Truscott Rossman’s intern program coordinator mentoring future communicators in the ever-evolving public affairs and public relations landscape. She is also an adjunct instructor in the business division at the Baker College Owosso campus where she teaches marketing, business, sales, customer service and professional management behavior courses.

Barb holds a Master of Business Administration degree, with a healthcare administration focus, from the Baker College Center for Online Graduate Studies.
