Mikayla Klaver

Chief of Staff to the CEO

Mikayla Klaver joined the Truscott Rossman team in February of 2022 as the chief of staff to the CEO, John Truscott. From scheduling to business development, Mikayla has always been a go-to individual.

Driven by her passion for providing clients the highest level of service, Mikayla is the bridge between John Truscott and success. She works directly with John to manage projects and to develop systems, policies and processes that drive achievement of high-level business priorities for the firm.

Prior to Truscott Rossman, Mikayla served dually as the director of constituent relations and administration specialist for Michigan State Senator Wayne Schmidt, Assistant Majority Leader (R-District 37). There, she ran office operations in addition to assisting the 37th district’s 250,000 constituents with inquiries relating to matters before the legislature, managing constituent casework, and serving as the liaison between constituents and state departments.

Following her three-year tenure in the office of Senator Schmidt, Mikayla joined the lobbying firm of Kelley Cawthorne. She provided exceptional client service through her roles as executive scheduler and event director during her two years with the firm.

Mikayla holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, minoring in religion, from Adrian College.
