A seasoned journalist and writer, Sharon has more than 20 years of experience in covering government and business news. In 2001-2002, Sharon won a Knight-Wallace Journalism Fellowship to the University of Michigan, one of 12 awarded annually to mid-career journalists nationwide. Pretty impressive.
And while the journalism world mourned the loss of a legend, Truscott Rossman celebrated her transition into the world of PR. Sharon draws on her extensive journalism career to assist clients with issues management, media relations, and strategic counseling in specialty areas including health care, education, human services, and disability and senior issues.
Sharon’s journalism background has made her the go-to wordsmith in our office, crafting each message with expert precision. Whether it’s editing with her favorite red pen, preparing documents for release, or strategizing how to make sure your message reaches the right reporters and editors at the right time, Sharon approaches each project with the same mission: make every word count!
