Formerly a media sales executive and fundraiser, Chelsea uses business acumen to craft compelling messages. She has degrees from Lansing Community College, Michigan State University, and Central Washington University, where she completed her graduate studies. She has a credential from the University of California Berkeley’s Extension Program in Professional Writing.

Chelsea’s community journalism, essays, and research have appeared in print and online magazines. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, and chopping wood for her wood stove.
