WHAT: Over the past 30 years the talented folks at Public Sector Consultants have become the go-to group for respected public policy research and spot-on observations about important issues facing Michigan – think health, education and the environment. Now, to mark PSC’s 30th year, they’re ready to party! PSC is providing the hors d’oeuvres and beverages for its “30 Rocks!” celebration. Attendees are responsible for bringing memories of Queen and Blondie circa 1980, when PSC was just getting started.

WHO: The entire PSC staff will be on hand, as will many friends, clients and helpmates from over the years. Speechifying will be kept to a minimum, but no promises are being made regarding crowd control – especially when it comes to story-telling and laughs. PSC’s friends have been known to party hearty!

WHY: In these days of intense and bitter partisanship, screeching that passes for political discourse and incessant finger-pointing, it’s important to remember that it doesn’t have to be that way. PSC tamps down the rhetoric to clear the way for calm and rational discussion, identifying common ground and finding innovative solutions to complex problems. That’s something to celebrate. Then there’s the other reason: Getting together with our favorite people and having some fun!
