Kick back, relax and enjoy some smooth jazz tomorrow evening at the free “Rhythm of Summer” jazz concert in Durant Park from 5 to 7 p.m., featuring Lansing’s Too Smooth for Notes!

If you haven’t heard Phil Denny and his band play before, you’re missing out – they blend an exceptional mix of jazz, R&B, soul and gospel:

Grab a cool treat from the Lansing Community College (LCC) antique ice cream cart or hot dogs, sausages and refreshments from Clint Tarver’s hot dog stand while you enjoy some jazz and summer sun.

A package of four Lansing Lugnuts tickets and gift certificates to Preuss Pets and Cozy Koi Bed & Breakfast will also be given away.

LCC Radio 89.7 will be also broadcasting live at the park. Bring the kids – sidewalk chalk and bubbles will be provided!
